How To Make Your Eyeshadow From Day To Night!

Hey everyone! Today I am going to do a tutorial on how to change your makeup from day to night using the N.Y.C. Individual Compact for green eyes! But first a little review on this palette!

Review:

This palette was about $5 at Target and it comes with 4 eyeshadow colors, 1 eye primer, and 1 illuminator. The eyeshadows are natural colors (mostly shimmery!) Their is a really pretty gold in the palette the 2 one from the bottom which is almost an exact dupe for the MAC eyeshadow in the color Gorgeous Gold! I love this palette and think you should buy it!

And now for the tutorial:

DAY

1. Use your finger and apply the primer from your lash line to your brow bone.

2. Use the 2nd color from the bottom (the second darkest) and a flat shader brush (I like the elf one but it does not matter) and pack it onto the lid.

3. Next, take a crease brush (any crease brush will do) and the 3rd color from the bottom (the third darkest) and apply it to your crease.

3. Use the other side of the ELF shader brush (or use a new flat shader brush) and use the lightest color. Apply it to your brow bone.

4. Add some blush, gloss, and mascara and you are ready for the day!

That is the day look...

....and now to take it into the night time:

Night

1. To take your eyes from day to night all you have to do is put this palette in your purse with an eyeliner, blush, gloss and a crease and blending brush and you are ready.
2. Take your crease brush (it can be the one you used for the day!) and get some of the darkest color on to the brush. Place this color only on the outer corner.

3. Take the blending brush and blend, blend, blend!
4. Add some more blush, and gloss.
5. Put on some eyeliner to make it look a little more dramatic!

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial and let me know if you want more (for example a smokey eye, purple, blue, neutral.... etc.) Please follow me, its free!

Disclaimer: I am going to redo my nail polish but I wanted to get the post up first :) Also, I bought this palette with my own money!

Elf Custom Compacts!

Hi everyone! I have a review for all of you today! The review will be on a product that I recently purchased and I am going to tell you my thoughts on it!

The makeup item I am going to be reviewing is the ELF Custom Compacts and the Custom Elements. They are each $1. (the compact is $1 and you can fill it with 4 elements for a $1 each!) So this way the total is $5. The super amazing thing about these compacts are they fit mac eyeshadows!

The first item I am going to review is the compact itself... I love this so much! They are super durable and will keep the element safe. Even if you do not get the elf elements I highly recommend the compact! I rate these a 10 out of 10 (10 being the best)!

The next items I am going to review the face elements. They are amazing to throw in your purse or backpack and touch up throughout the day! I rate these an 8 out of 10 because they are so convenient to put in your purse or bring to school in you back pack!

The lip elements are awesome because you can mix and match until you get the perfect shade! I rate these a 9 out of 10 because I love mixing and matching different colors to make the perfect shade!

I love the eyes because they all match so well and also they have some pigment (what I mean by that is they are not as pigmented as mac or anything but they have a little color)! I rate these a 7 out of 10 because their is not a lot of pigments.

Hope this was helpful and if you have any more questions about these please let me know! Also, follow me if you did not yet and you like my blog!

What Time Is It... It's Haul Time!

Hi everyone! I recently placed an order with the company ELF Cosmetics and I did buy everything with my own money! Most of the Elf products are $1 dollar so I might have went a little crazy! Elf always has awesome coupon codes! Right now they have one for 50% off all of their studio line! (their three dollar line!). Also, keep checking the website because they change frequently!

Now lets get into the haul!

This is all of the "things" I bought:

These are ELF custom compacts! The actual compact is $1 and the pans (the actual product) are a dollar as well. (If you want a review on the compact let me know!)

The next one is the Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara. It was $1! I have never tried this clear lash & brow gel but if you want a review let me know!

The next item is the ELF mineral eyes in the color Rustic Brown. These are neutral eyeshadows! They are very shimmery so if you do not like shimmer do not get this. I think they were about $5 which is a good deal for three eyeshadows!

The next items are items that I have bought and I repurchased these items. They were all 1 dollar! I absolutely love the eyelashes!

The last item I bought was another shimmering facial whip in the color Lilac Petal! I love this for highlighting my cheek bones!

If you want me to review anything let me know! Hope you enjoyed this haul! Follow me if you like my posts!

Favorite Perfume for the Summer!

Hi everyone!!! I have a post today on my favorite summer perfume! I love sweet and fruity perfumes for the spring and summer months!!! The perfume that I am in love with this summer is the PINK With A Splash fruity & bright.  This perfume smells sooo good! I have the full size one but another thing I love about this is you can buy a mini bottle so it is perfect for traveling!!!

One tip I have for spraying perfumes is to NOT spray directly on you skin of clothes. If you spray it directly on your clothes it might stain then and if you spray it on your skin over time it will discolor you skin!!!! I spray a few sprays and then walk in to it this way it is not only in one spot and it is able to cover your whole body!!!!

I absolutely love this PINK perfume and it can be bought (full size) at Bath and Body Works or Victoria Secret for about 15 dollars and at Bath and Body Works they have discounts so you can buy 2 for $22 of 3 for $30. If you want the mini ones they are about $8. Please let me know your favorite summer perfume or if you don't change your perfumes for the summer!! Hope you all enjoyed and Follow Me if you like my blog!!!

UPDATE!!!!

Hi everyone! So this is going to be a little up date on what I have been doing/ loving makeup related! The first thing I wanted to share with you is I have made a poll on my blog which asks what type of posts you would like to see! Please vote so I know what you want me to write about! In addition, I have been loving false lashes! I have been putting them one and taking them off putting them on, and taking them off, putting (well you get the point!). I think they make my lashes look so full and thick. The ones I have been practicing with are the ELF false lashes! They are only 1 dollar and you can use them many times! I have not worn them out of my house yet because I have not completely got the technique down. I love them so much and I think you should go to target and buy at least one package! Let me know if you like these types of posts (click on the random button on my poll because these are random posts!! haha). Let me know and I hope you enjoyed!!!

What primer is the best????? Urban decay or too faced???

Hi everyone!!! This is going to be a blog post on my favorite primer and why I like it so much. I have two primers, Urban Decay and Too Faced! I only have a sample (it came with a palette) of the Too Faced Shadow Insurance and I have the full size urban decay. I bought the urban decay first for about $18 at Sephora and I got the Too faced in a set but if you were to buy it at Sephora or on the website it would cost about $18 as well. I have the old Urban Decay Primer Potion and I am just going to say I dislike the bottle! I am not able to get out all of the product out! I know that they changed the bottle which is good. But as I said I have the old one and I also do not like it because it is hard to control how much or how little you get! The actual primer and the staying power is good I do notice that my shadow does start to crease towards the end of the day (I mainly use mac eyeshadows but their are other brands I like!!!!) Overall, I think it is a good product but not as good as the next primer I am going to tell you about!!! The next primer is the Too faced shadow insurance! This comes in a tube that you can squeeze the product out. I like it because I am able to control how much product I can take. I love this primer!!!!! It makes my eyeshadow last all day with out creasing!!!! If works so well and I love it soooo much!!!!! It does not make my eyelids oily but it does not dry them out either!!! :) hahaha It is a combination between both!!! So overall, I would recommend Too Faced shadow insurance over Urban Decay not saying Urban decay is bad I just like too faced shadow insurance better!!! :) Hope this was helpful and if you have any questions please let me know!!!!
Disclaimer: I bought these with my own money!!!!

Here are both primers

This is the Urban Decay Primer Potion!

This is what the primer can with! I do not think you can get this set any more but I am not sure!

This is the Too Faced Shadow Insurance!

Hope this helped!!! Thanks so much!!!!

Benefit Cosmetics Feelin' Cheeky Review!!!!!!

Hi everyone! This is going to be a review of the Benefit Cosmetics Feelin' Cheeky Set! I bought this at Sephora for $15 dollar!!!! I would just like to start off by saying that if you bought just one of the cheek and lips stains is would cost you almost $30!!!!! You get all three for $15. These are kinda small but they will last for a while! I think they apply very well because of the brush and also the pigmentation is very good and I think it is totally worth the money!!!!!! If you can go out to Sephora and buy this because it is such a good deal!!! If you have any questions about this just leave them in the comments. :) Thanks so much and I have taken a couple of pictures so you can see the size of them!!!!!

This is the size of them compared to a mac eyeshadow!

These are all three of them :)
Hope this helps!!!! If you have any more questions!!!!!

At Sephora I bought the benefit Feelin' cheeky which was $15.00. It comes with mini sizes of posie tint, high beam, and bene tint! I thought this was a great deal so I bought it!!!!

This was the fist thing I bought at MAC and it was the Big Bounce Shadow in the color Impeccably Rich. It was $16.50. I use this as a cream eyeshadow and a base to the next thing I bought!!!! (If you can you should totally buy this. I am in love with it!!!!!!!!)

This is the MAC eyeshadow in the color Gorgeous Gold!!! It was $14.50. It is such a beautiful gold color and it looks amazing over the BIg Bounce Shadow!!!!

UP & UP Kabuki brush

Hi everyone. This is going to be a review on the UP & UP Kabuki brush. I bought this at target for $5. This brush is so dense and it is so soft! I used this to buff on my powder! It works very well and I would totally recommend this because it is $5 compared to a mac one for $50! This brush is amazing and if you have any more questions about this brush leave it in the comment! Hope this helps!!!

HAUL!!!

Hi everyone. I am going to do a haul today. I am not trying to brag about what I bought I am just showing you so if you want a review or to know if I like the product you can ask me. I went to target today and I bought some makeup!!!! I spent a total of $21.23. I am going to show you what I got and if you want a review just let me know!!!!
As you can see I did not buy too much but this was all I really want on this trip

This was 5.94 and it is the Maybelline Eyestudio in the color Lawless Lavender

I had this but I need another one because I finished the old on. This was the elf complexion perfection and it was $3.00.

These are the elf Waterproof eyeliner pen and they were a dollar each. I bought the colors black and coffee.

This  is the up & up kabuki brush and it was $4.99. I just really need a kabuki brush and do not was to spend $50 on the mac one.

This is the N.Y.C. custom compact for green eyes and it was $4.04. It is specifically for green eyes but they have for other eye colors too.

If you want a review on anything just let me know. Also, do you want more hauls of what makeup I buy?

E.O.S Lip balm

Hi everyone. I have a review on the E.O.S. lip balm. I love this lip balm. It comes in a egg shaped container and the product is in a sphere. I actually used mine so much it actually flattened!! It keeps my lips so moisturized. I actually bought it in the winter because my lips get so chapped and they crack so much. I would put this in my bag and brought it everywhere. This was my favorite lip balm for the the winter and now spring! I have the green lip balm in the scent honeysuckle honeydew. It smelled and tasted like honeydew (when I licked my lips I tasted it I did not eat it haha). I love this lip balm and would recommend it because it is all natural and inexpensive. I bought mine at Walgreens for $2.50 and it lasted a very long time! I would definitely recommend this lip balm if you are unsure whether to buy it or not. Hope this review was helpful.

Elf Brushes

Hi everyone this is going to be a review on all of the elf brushes I own. Some can be bought at target and they can all be bought online.

Essential brushes ($1 brushes):

Foundation brush- I love love love this brush for foundation and tinted moisterizer. It blends my makeup so easily and it is very inexpensive. If I was to rate this from 1-10, 10 being the best I would give it a 9 1/2 that is how much I love it!

Total face brush- This is a good brush for putting bronzer on your neck because to me it is a little too rough  on my face. I would rate this a 5. Yes, it is a dollar but in my opinion don't waste the dollar!

Bronzing brush- I do not like this brush because when I try to apply bronzer it looks very harsh and it does not blend well. I would rate this a 4.

Eyeshadow brush- I LOVE LOVE LOVE this brush. It is a flat shader brush and it packs on the color soooo well! I would rate this a 10!!!! Go to your local target and buy about ten!!!!!

Blending brush- I do not like this brush for blending, but I LOVE this brush for my crease. It is not fluffy enough to blend but it is just right for the crease!! I would give it about a 5 for BLENDING but a 10 for the CREASE!!!!!!

Defining brush- This is an angled eyeshadow brush. It is not full enough for the crease or packing color on the lid. This is an ok brush. I rate this a 5 if you want it for the outer corner.

Lip defining brush- This is my only lip brush and I was so happy because I LOVE it! It is the perfect size for my lips and it makes apply lipstick so easy and clean. I rate this brush a 10!!!!!!!

Eyeliner brush- This brush it too thick for my liking. I like a thin line and this does not give me a good thin line. If you like a think line this brush is good for a dollar. It is a little flimsy but for a dollar it will give you an okay line. I rate this a 7 for a thick line but a 3 for a thin line.

Smudge eye sponge- I do not like this brush!!!! I think if you want to smudge out your eyeliner use a cotton swab!!! In addition, I think it tugs too much on my eyes. I rate this a 2!!

Brow comb & Brush- This is good because it is like any high end brow comb but it is a dollar!!!! I rate this a 10!!!!

Eyelash and Brow wand-  I love this for combing my eyebrows and decamping my mascara!!! I rate this a 10!!!!

Studio brushes ($3):

Powder brush- I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this brush I use it for contouring and also applying blush. I love it so much and it is really soft and I rate it a 10!!!!!1

Blush brush- I like this for highlighting because it is too small for blush. It has a pointed tip of you get the perfect highlighting application!! I rate this a 9 1/2 for highlighting and a 8 for blush because it is soo soft!!!!!

Angled eyeliner brush- This brush is flimsy but it make my eyeliner so thin, but it takes a little extra time but it is worth it!! I rate this an 8 1/2!!!

Tools:

essential eyelash curler ($1): I love this eyelash curler!!! It curls my eyelashes so well and it also has a spring in it so it will not break your eyelashes as much. I still will break them just like all other brands. I use this when I go out on night not on a daily basis!!! I rate it a 10!!!!!!!!

tweezers ($1): They are good, I like Tweezerman tweezer better but those are $30 and the elf one is $1!!! I rate then a 5 because they work but they are not shape and small enough to get all of the hairs!!!

Hope this review was helpful and if you want a more in depth review just let me know!!!
