OMG Nails Review/ Tutorial

Hey everyone. A little while ago I was contacted by the company OMG Nails. They sell nail strips/ foils for about $4.30! How amazing! The company has so many different choices to chose from. I chose the Silver Base with Black Skulls Nail Foil Strips. These strips are amazing because there is zero smudging and they take no time to dry. I really like these nail strips but the only thing is I feel like these strips are going to peel off but I will keep you all up to date about how long they last.

Steps:

1. Peel off the strips

2. Place them on your nails and line up the rounded edge with your cuticle.

3. The tip should hang over your nail and with the bend are fold it over and use a nail file to get rid of the excess nail strip.

4. Then, I used a clear nail polish on the tip of my nail to keep the strip on my nails.

*The polish strips do not stay on too well but if you wanted them for a special occasion then I say go for it! But if you want something that will last for a few weeks then I would not go for these strips. The strips do start to peel after a little while.

DIY Caviar Nails

Hey everyone so a cool nail trend that I have been loving is caviar nails. The brand Ciate sells a kit for $25 dollars at Sephora. Quite franquely I did not want to spend $25 dollars on a trendy item. I found these micro beads at Micheals all six colors for $6!!

Steps:

1. Paint all nails except for your ring fingers

2. Paint one coat of a polish color onto your ring fingers.

3. Paint a second coat and sprinkle on the micro beads on to your ring finger only. (Do this step over some sort of bowl so the beads don't get all over)

4. Let the nails dry completely so you do not smudge them!

It is that simple and it looks so pretty! Keep in mind that you are able to do all your nails with the caviar trend if you choose.

Banana "Ice Cream" Recipe

Hey everyone! I have been obsessed with making banana "ice cream". The reason I keep putting quotes on ice cream is because this recipe does not include any dairy. The only ingredients in this ice cream is banana!

Ingredients:

Yonanas machine (from Bed Bath and Beyond)
A bowl
Bananas
apple (optional)
cinnamon (optional)

Steps:

1. Freeze peeled bananas for at least 24 hours.

2. Take the bananas out of the freezer for 5 minutes

3. Put the bananas through the Yonanas machine

4. Add any topping to the "ice cream" (I chose apple and cinnamon)

5. EAT!! 

This recipe is vegan and so healthy for you but it tastes like ice cream (but perfect for any vegans like myself or people who want a healthy alternative to ice cream)! I hope you all enjoy!!

Question of the Week!

Hey everyone! I have a question for all of you out there reading this!

If you could go back in time and tell your younger self something what would it be and why?

Let me know in the comments because someone asked this to me and I literally stood there like a dear in headlights until I thought of something... which I will share with all of you. I told would tell my self to stay true to who your are and that if everyone was the same them thats no fun!

Humungous Collective Haul + an Update!

Hey everyone so I have not put up a post in a long time and the reason for that is because the storm, Hurricane Sandy actually did some bad damage to my house, trees fell, our roof tiles came off so we had a leak in our house, but most importantly we did not have power for nine days! The good news is that no one in my family was hurt, compared to others around where I live we were far from the worst, oh yeah... and we got power back!! During the time of the black out, there was not much to do so I ended up going to the mall to keep warm (because the mall had power). While I was there I was tempted to shot, so that is what I did! I went to a bunch of stores and bought quite a few things so lets get into the haul!

First I went to CVS and bought some nail polishes!

Next, I went to Rite Aid to get this Marc Anthony Beach Spray to test out.

After Rite Aid I went to Bath and Body Works. I wanted to try out something from there Aromatherapy line because I have a friend who has the Sleep Body Oils and raves about it.

Then, I went to this store called Charming Charlie which had a ton of costume jewelry. 

Next, I went to Forever 21!

I also went to Kohl's. That was my first time ever going to Kohl's and I picked out a couple things that I like so I was pleased with the store.

Of course I went to TJ Maxx!

The I went to a store that is only in my mall so I am not going to tell you the name... sorry.

Then I went to Lord & Taylor.

I  have always wanted leather pants, but I thought they were too bold for me so when I found these I fell in love with them!
