Chit Chat With Cami! #1

Hey everyone! So a little while I did a post asking you what I should call my random blog posts and someone recommended Chit Chat With Cami and I thought it was such a great name! So here is my first Chit Chat With Cami!


So I sat down at my computer thinking about what I wanted to post about and I kindof just wanted to babble about things. So I thought that is what I am going to do! 


So lately I have been feeling a little under the weather. :( My throat has been hurting so I am sitting here writing this post and sipping on some tea! Now I usually don't drink much tea but it feels really good on my throat! (Do you drink tea when you are sick?) For some reason I always tend to get sick when the season changes from Spring to Summer, I remember getting a cold last year around this time too; weird huh?


So enough about my being sick.... So I went shopping this past weekend and I got two tops that I am in love with! Also, I was outside a lot this weekend, and I now can see a little bit of a tan line. I love to get a little tan in the summer (but always wear sunscreen!) 


I have recently fallen in love with jogging and running. I always liked to workout but now since where I live, the weather is getting nicer and warmer, I have been loving going outside and just jogging around! 


OMG! So i am drinking the tea while I am writing this and it makes my throat feel sooo good! (I thought I would just add that to the post because that is what came to my mind!)


So... What else can I talk to you all about?


Oh! So last weekend I treated my self to a pedicure (I usually just paint my out toe nails but I thought I would treat myself) And I read Instyle while I got them painted the color Kiss Me on The Chic I think it was called by OPI. I love the color and it was so relaxing getting my toes done and reading a magazine!


Another thing is that one of my face products is breaking me out so I have been determined to find out what it is and when I do, I will do a post about it because I usually do not break out very easily but something is breaking me out! :(


So I think that is it for today and sorry it is a little scatter brained but I just wrote what popped into my mind! Product you refuse to wear in the summer...

Hey everyone! So I was wondering......


What is one makeup item that you refuse to wear during the summer?


For me, it is eyeliner. I do not like to wear eyeliner during the summer because I feel that it tends to sweat off my face and by the end of the day or night, it does not look very pretty. 


So that is my beauty items that I refuse to use during the summer, let me know yours in the comments!

My everyday, less than a minute eye makeup!

Hey eveyone. So I love makeup and I have a pretty good sized collection, but I like to keep my makeup looking nice, natural and fresh. I do not like to wear a ton of makeup during the day (at night it is a different story... I will typically wear a little more on nights out). But for the day I like to keep it very simple and quick because I do not have a lot of time in the morning. This is going to be a post on a super simple everyday eye makeup look that I have been wearing for a while. If you want me to do an everyday foundation and face makeup let me know! (In the morning when I am in a rush this makeup look literally takes 30 seconds to do)


Steps:


1. Prime your eyes (I like to use MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre all over my lid and up to my brow bone)

2. Apply MAC Soft and Gentle all over your eyes and a little on the brow bone with a medium sized stippling brush (I like to use MAC 188) The reason I use Soft and Gentle by MAC is because I use that as a highlight color with the MAC 188 so I use the same brush and product so it is so quick and I don't have to worry about a bunch of different products when I am trying to get ready in the morning! :)

3. Use MAC Soft Brown and apply lightly to your outer corner with the MAC 217 brush.

4. If you need, blend the colors lightly (Sometimes I do, but it all depends on how blended you want it to look)


5. Add some mascara and you are all finished!

(You do not have to use the exact products I used, feel free to find dupes for the colors and use those)


I love to do this makeup look because it is so easy to do and so quick!

Summer Must Haves (Fashion)

Hey everyone. So my last post was a Summer Must Haves post but that was the beauty part so here is the fashion post! (they are in no specific order) 


1.  A floppy hat

2. At least one bathing suit (I showed three though!)

3. Jean Shorts

4. A pair of fun shorts (I chose two different ones to show you, one is a pair of black lace shorts and the other is a tribal patterned shorts)

5. A bright colored shirt or a bright colored bathing suit cover

6. A maxi dress

7. Nude wedges

8. Flip flops

9. A jean jacket

Summer Must Haves! (beauty)

Hey everyone! Summer is right around the corner so I thought I would do my summer must haves. This first post will be all things beauty related and either tomorrow or the day after I will do a post on fashion items that are my summer must haves so be sure to check back here for that! :) So lets get into the post.
(they are in no specific order)


1. Coral and Mint nail polish. The reason is becuase coral and mint are really big colors this summer and I just think they are beautiful colors!

2. A lip balm with SPF because there is nothing worse than sunburned lips. I like the Neutrogena lip moisturizer SPF 15

3.  A moisturizer with SPF I like the Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 15.

4. The Hawaiian Tropic Shimmer Effect SPF 20. I love love love this sunscreen because when you are out in the sun it looks like you are glowing because of the shimmer (if is very fine shimmer though). Also, it has SPF and SPF is sooooo important because you do not want to get burned.

5. A tinted moisturizer I do not like heavy makeup durning the summer because it tends to sweat off so I like something a little less thick, a tinted moisturizer.

6. WATERPROOF mascara. When you are swimming or at the beach and you want to wear mascara I highly recommend waterproof (if any) to wear in the water.

7. Bath and Body Works Midnight Pomegranate body splash. I love it because it has a little bit of a fruity scent.

8. A wide tooth comb, when your hair is wet from the pool or ocean, you do not want to brush it with a brush because it will break your hair so I use a wide tooth comb!

9. Moisturizer! I always use moisturizer because I think the worst thing is to have rough skin. I like soft and smooth skin so I moisturize!    


10. A bright eyeshadow color or palette. I always experiment with brighter or more colorful colors in the summer.

Nail Polish of the Day! 5/26/12

Hey everyone so I have been loving light colors on my nails recently and I found this color at the store recently and I bought it and painted my nails with it right when I got home and am now in love with it. It is in the color Cinderella by Sinful Colors. I really like the brand Sinful Colors because it is super affordable and they have a pretty good selection of different colors!

Quick Update!

Hey everyone. I have been incredibly busy the last couple of days so I am so sorry that a post has not gone up, but I do have some posts planned for the weekend and hopefully next week.
