Target Haul!

Hey everyone! Before I left for vacation on Saturday I went to Target. I did not have time to do a haul so I decided to do one now. Better late than never right? Also, while I was on vacation I did a tremendous amount of shopping so if you like hauls I will be posting a blog post about what I bought soon.

I saw this curling iron for only $14! I thought it was such a good deal so I decided to purchase it!

This was $3

I really wanted to try this eyeshadow. It cost $3.

This cost $3.

I am so excited to try this because it will save so much time in the morning.

I have used this before and I loved it so I bought it again because it makes my nails dry so fast! It cost $9.

I have this eyeliner in the color Gunmetal and I like it but the real reason I bought this again is because of the brush it comes with. Its amazing!

I have heard great things about this mascara. This mascara cost $7!

I straighten my hair almost everyday and I have tried this from my friend once and it was amazing so I bought it. It cost about $19.

I have the original heat protection from Tresemme and I ran out so I decided to try the one with Keratin it cost $5.

I bought this headband to wear when I curl my hair with the curler I bought! It was $4.

I hope you all enjoy this haul and I have a clothing haul from my trip so keep an eye out for that!

My Tips on how to pack when I travel!

Hey everyone! I have some helpful tips for all of you who need to pack for vacation! Here are my helpful tips to make sure you are packing right.

1. Don't over pack! If you are going to a place where you can do laundry (like I am) you do not need to pack a new top for each night or a new pair of pants for each day. Just do the laundry.

2. Make a packing list. I always make a packing check list with all the things I need for my vacation, ex: 3 day outfits. This keeps everything organized and it also makes sure that I do not forget to pack anything.

3. Stick to one look. By this I mean only pack enough makeup for one type of look. It is not necessary to pack pink eyeshadows and green eyeshadows for example. The exception to this is if you bring a makeup palette.

4. Keep the jewelry to a minimum. Surprisingly jewelry weighs alot. I always pack it last or in my carry on.

5. Buy travel size toilet trees. I buy mini hairspray, mousse, shampoo, and condition. By doing this it keep the weight down a lot.

6. When packing hot tools like a curling iron or flat iron be sure to pack them in the middle of your clothing so they do not get broken when your bag is being loaded on to the plane.

7. *If you are traveling for a long period of time and are going to be living out of your suit case for the duration of your trip I highly recommend buying the 2 gallon sized bags and packing your clothes in those. For example, one bag will have shorts and the other long sleeve. This keeps it organized and it also allows you to find what you are looking for more easily.

I hope these tips help you all and if you have any others let me know in the comments! I hope you all have a happy and safe trip!

Baby Lips Review

Hey everyone!

I recently purchased the Maybelline Baby Lips and I love it! I got the flavor Quenched but they have a lot of other ones. I got the one that has no color but they have others with colors. I have been obsessed with using this because it makes my lips super soft. I bought mine at Walgreens for $4! I have not gone anywhere without this lip balm! I bring it everywhere! I totally recommend this to everyone because it works so well. I hope you all enjoy.

Need a Valentines Day/Night Makeup Tutorial?

Hey everyone! I have a last minute Valentines Day makeup tutorial. I used the BH Cosmetics Pallette (which I have shown in a previous post), but if you do not have this palette I show you an alternative from the drugstore.

Steps:

1. Prime your eyes

2. Apply a light pink eyeshadow all over your eyelids.

an alternative to using the BH Cosmetics palette is to use this Wet N Wild Palette in Walking on Eggshells

3. Next, use a copper colored color and apply it to your crease

4. Next use a deep plum color on the outer corner of your eyelid. Just place it on to your outer corner and don't worry about blending just yet.

5. Now use a skin toned color and a fluffy brush and apply the color to your brow bone and blend the eyeshadow colors

6. Now its time for mascara! On Valentines Day I like for my eyelashes to look fully and long. To achieve this look without use false lashes, I used a waterproof mascara and over top of it I used a regular mascara. I also lined my upper lash line with a brown eyeliner because it was not as harsh as black.

7. Apply a shimmery highlight to your cheek bones

8. Use a lip tint to instead of lipgloss or lipstick becuase it will stay on all day and/or night

9. Add a pink blush (I like this one because it has hearts in it!) to the apples of your cheeks.

I hope you all enjoyed my "last minute Valentines Day Makeup Tutorial". Have a happy Valentines Day!

Review: Hollister Addison Perfume

Hey everyone! Today I have a review for all of you. I will be reviewing the Hollister Addison Perfume. I purchased the Addison perfume at Hollister for $40. First I just want to talk about the packaging... I LOVE IT! It has such a pretty navy blue bow on the cap that I think looks so pretty.

As for describing scents... I am really bad at it, but I love the way this smells! I

This is what it says on their website and I will give you my opinion of the scent based on their description

It smells fruity to me, I don't know if I would say peach necessarily but defiantly fruity. I also smell a little hint of musk as well but nothing over powering. Overall, I would say if you like fruity perfumes then this is the one for you, if not then I will be reviewing another perfume very shortly that I have been loving as well!

I hope you all enjoy this review and let me know your "signature" scent!
