Tip of the day! 5/14/12

Hey everyone. Today I have a tip of the day!


Since it is getting warmer and the sun is coming out WEAR SUNSCREEN! Everyday, I use sunscreen on my face to prevent skin damage. Pretty obvious but many people skip wearing sunscreen! I would highly recommend wearing sunscreen on your face and when you go to the beach, or spend a lot of time in the sun you should wear sunscreen. 


Hope you will start being more conscientious of wearing sunscreen!

BH Cosmetics 120 Colors 5th edition palette review!

Hey everyone! So about 2 weeks ago I have received the BH Cosmetics 120 Colors 5th edition palette. It has so many warm toned neutral colors. I love neutral colors so I was so happy when BH Cosmetics sent me this palette. I have tried out the all of the different. I think they blend very well and all look good together. I will have some up tutorials coming up that I am very excited for so stay tuned for that but back to the review. They have shimmer colors, matte colors, glitter colors and so many different colors! The one thing I will say about these is at the end of the day before I take my eyeshadow off is that the colors did fade. I put my makeup on at around 7:00AM and then took it off at 7:00PM so after 12 hours it did fade which I am not complaining about but I did use a prime so I would recommend using a primer. 


In conclusion, I love this palette and I think it is totally worth the 23 dollars! The colors are so pretty and I love them so much! I would totally recommend it!

1. What's the best memory you have off the top of your mind?

I have so many but my recent one was going out to dinner with my friends for my birthday!

2. Your #1 must have beauty tool?

Concealer, I have the worst dark circles!

3. Which is your favorite face moisturizer?

Aveeno Daily Moisturizer

4. Around what age did you start doing your makeup?

In 6th grade I used things like lipgloss and a little mascara but in 8th grade is when I started using concealer, blush, eyeshadow and things like that

5. Short or long nails?

I prefer short!

6. What is the number one product you use in your hair and why?

Chi silk infusion, it helps so much with my frizzy hair!

7. What place have you been to that has a beautiful memory in and who was it with?

Any place I go with friends and family, their is always a new memory we make!

8. Who is that one person you can trust will hear you out and allow you to let it out?

My mom I always talk to her about things!

9. If you could have a second home- where would it be and why?

Some place that stays warm all year round so I would always be able to blog and do things out side in warm weather!

10. What makes you laugh/cry every time?

Anything, I laugh sooo much!

11. What do you like to splurge on the most?

I splurge on a good Flat Iron because I like to take really good care of my hair

My Favorite Healthy Snack!

Hey everyone. So this is going to be a post showing all of you how to make the best healthy snack in my opinion. It is the easiest thing ever to make so you do not have to be a good cook at all! I have been loving this and want to share it with all of you. You might think I am silly for doing a whole post for this because it is so easy to make. 


What you need:
- a plate
-an apple
-cinnamon
-a knife


Steps: 


Dice the apple into cubes and sprinkle with cinnamon (you can add as much or as little as you want). Then mix the apple and cinnamon together. And you are done! See it is that easy!

Help me name these posts!

Hey everyone so I am going to start making more random posts on things that are happening in my life and basically anything that comes to mind, (so they might be a little scatter brained!) But I love just to discuss things and sometimes I do not want to just talk about makeup and fashion (But that is still the main focus on my blog so don't worry!!!!!). Into the Ocean Tutorial

Hey everyone! I have a tutorial for all of you today! I call it, "Into the Ocean" because I feel like it looks like sand and the ocean a little! I think it is perfect for the spring and summer time because of the pop of color! 


1. Prime your eyes:

2. Apply a light shimmery eyeshadow to all over the lid:

 3. Apply a light blue eyeshadow to the outer corner:

4. Apply a dark blue eyeshadow to the outer corner of your eye:

Apply a black eyeliner to the waterline:

Apply some mascara:

Apply a light pink blush to the apples of your checks:

Apply a lipgloss (I used Baby Sparks because it has blue sparkles in it!):
